We give to UGNE because they are committed for the long haul to helping survivors navigate the complexities of coming out of “the life” of being trafficked.  This faith-based mission is able to help more survivors at a time than other programs which have limited capacity at a dedicated residence. The mentors daily come alongside survivors to help them find true freedom and are an inspiration to us.  They are making a real difference in 20 plus survivors' lives this year alone.  We are privileged to support this good work.

I became involved in the mission of the Underground in 2015 by volunteering to pray. From there, I became active in educating, advocating, supporting, and fundraising for the prevention of sex-trafficking in CT (and beyond) and securing dignity and freedom for those who fall victim. The source of my involvement is my belief in Jesus Christ and the inherent dignity of every individual.
