Human Trafficking affects over 1 million men and women in America. It’s happening in every town in CT. Yet only 1% of victims are ever identified.
And for those victims that do come forward? There’s a long pathway to freedom and few financial resources. Less than 2% of philanthrophic funding is dedicated to anti-trafficking efforts.
These “invisible” victims face significant barriers to escape & recovery. If they leave their trafficker, they lose: housing, finances, community, and so much more.
But, with your partnerships our clients are achieving freedom – becoming social workers, bank employees, mothers, data analysts, and college students.
So what can you do?
Well, in this work dollars is the difference between men and women getting trafficked… and men and women accessing resources, healing, and a new life.
